Am I able to sign up for island creator without having to receive a payout?

I want to publish islands I make in UEFN without having to receiving payout. I would like to publish islands I make for fun for everyone to play!

Please tell me there is some way to do this without having to get payout or putting my tax information in.

All UGC (user-generate content) in Fortnite is commercial at this point. As far as I know, anything up to uploading private builds for memory calculations is allowed without finishing the signing up steps. I am not sure if those private builds can be shared with others. Someone else will have to try and let us know.

I do agree with your request, though. One may want to publish islands for non-commercial use. It makes sense to support that, but it’s probably going to be costly for Epic. :pensive_face:

Yeah, you are able to share those codes to people outside of your UEFN team. Maybe if we can bring enough attention to this topic we could be able to get something working out of this!
