I’d really like to see an alternative option for the Facing Direction setting in the Third Person Controls device, that makes the character face and shoot in the same horizontal direction as the camera, similar to how it works in SMITE.
It seems simple to implement, but will greatly help us diversify the gameplay!
Let me bring this topic up again, because this setting is primarily intended for arcade modes, which the developers themselves have stated as their current focus.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. That’s a good point. There would need to be some tweaking to make it play nice with the targeting. As we’re developing new camera systems I’ll make sure we are covering this use case.
