Hi all! I am fairly new to UE5 so bear with me I tried searching for the answer but haven’t been able to find a solution, and this seems like it should be pretty straightforward.
I have several actors selected and am trying to duplicate them and drag them to a new location by alt+dragging, but when I try to drag them, the axis changes like it’s switching from world to local. I’ve definitely tried this in both, but I get the same results either way. I also tried grouping them and duplicating the group but I have the same problem. Hopefully the attached gif shows what’s happening, but please let me know if I’m not being clear and I’ll try to send more info.
I did just discover something new and odd in trying different methods to fix this… if I re-group a group, sometimes I can get my axes to reset. Meaning I have a group that’s not behaving in the way I feel like it should when I switch between local and world axes, if I just group it again, it will switch the axes up. This feels a bit like a bug to me… is that how it’s supposed to behave?
I should note that re-grouping the original ceiling mesh did not help when I went to duplicate it, so the original problem remains.
