[ALPHA] VIDA - UDK2U4 C++ port

This race was sort of a challenge, when I began, I have no idea about how to spawn the emitter by code and configure it.

Due to size it will use another skeleton and animblueprint, so, I couldn’t put it to launch skills yet, but the system just needs the assets to everything work, hope in get them ready soon.

All races with at least onde gender and mesh…
UI does change…
Now I just need tons of meshes to items and female versions. LOL

Tried some sort of “athletic” anatomy…

Thought about differ then by overall shape…
Guys = A Glass Block.
Gals = A Glass Shard.

Female-Sentinel

Nothing too much new, but decided to improve a bit the “fake” skin shader…

I think the textures tiling on some of the floors and terrains are too apparent…

Thanks L_A_L_I_90! This scenery is just a placeholder to implement combat, but I’ll pay attention on this.

Here we go… Now the Ranged weapons are working!

Tunning arrows… Now hiting more places from the target.

No more naked chars! Now I need armors to finish combat… LOL

Almost one year “fulltime” on this decided to put “everything together” and check where I’m heading.
Is more a Game Design / Programming sneak peak than a trailer.
The video has English Subs, so if you think my voice annoying, just turn off UNTIL 10:00 BUT don’t forget to turn it ON after this to some SFX and a nice surprise. :stuck_out_tongue:

I must confess I didn’t ever thought about this LOL, as you see, would imply on another level of detail on the game assets (they’re all optimized to MOBAlevel due to the far camera) and also player’s system specs (I did this capture at 60+ fps on a simple GTX 750 1GB), while I plan in make some closer shots on animatics (Matinee) until these will be “surgically” planned.

About gameplay, my AI still on the works because some “weird requirements” I hope in bring something with “more action” on the next weeks.

A rough test…

Combined Matinee and Consecrate System.

Get at least one weapon from some class done… Animate character to use it… Insert on game inventory.
Rinse - Repeat.

We can learn a lot from playing Infinity Blade and trying to imagine how ChAIR guys works to maximize their productivity…

Celestial Sword done, now I need to extract the textures to engine usage…

Ow… Needed to “adjust” the handle to fit on the 1 foot width Celestial Char hand… :frowning:
