Allow StaticMeshEditor to change the source mesh Pivot

If possible, could we get a feature where the Static Mesh Editor allows us to change the raw pivot of the mesh itself? I’m working on a project where I don’t always have access to source files, and exporting static meshes and reimporting them results in loss of data such as smoothing groups for example so it’s difficult to reimport them.

It would be really useful if we could change not the “Import Translation” but the actual saved translation/rotation in the mesh and update the asset accordingly.

That’s a neat idea, i’d like that aswell.

+1, hopefully it should be now easier to implement with new mesh data representation
