Allow hand controller to control the camera view

Hi folks
I’ve been trying to mimic this HTC VIVE tutorial with Oculus Quest controllers.Setting Up a Virtual Camera | Vive Pro + UE4 - YouTube
I’ve used some unreal tutorials too

and created 3 attempts to creat this kind of control.
even though any static mesh that was connected to the controller was moving along the controller, the camera remained only controllable by mouse.

what did i miss?
