I have no idea why but after a 1-week vacation all my Ai on my map is not working i have made a new NAV Mesh and still nothing It’s not just individual AI its all of them
If you can help me thankyou
- Does your nav mesh glow green when you press the P key?
- Did you try deleting the RecastNavMesh actor and rebuilding?
- What are you using to move your AI, a behavior tree or the AIMoveTo blueprint node?
it appears grean when i press p,i deleted recast nav mesh and i used blueprint AI Move to.It was all working a week ago
Can you show how you are getting a location target for the AI Move To node? Try replacing it with a ‘Get Random Reachable Location in Radius’ node and see if that works.
OK, can you confirm that all of these locations are valid on the nav mesh? You can also try my previous recommendation to ensure that this isn’t a problem.
yes i can confirm that
do you know what’s happening?
Not, really TBH. Just in case, open Project Settings and ensure that “Generate Navigation Only Around Nav Invokers” is unchecked. Now, open your AI blueprint, select Class Defaults, click the eye icon on the top right, and check “Show Only Modified Properties”. What is visible here and in the Movement Component now?
When i clicked the EYE I saw Auto posses AI Spawn or placed in world.
In the movement comp it sais max walk speed 430
That sounds right. Did you find the aforementioned Invoker setting? If it is unchecked, then I’m afraid my only recommendation is to restart the editor and maybe try the “FindRandomReachableLocation” node.
its also happend on other maps
Did you manage to make it work?
I have the same problem
a week ago all AI stopped moving
I tried to create other maps and other projects but the “ai move to” function always fails
I managed to get it to work again i think i just clicked the runtime Ai thing on the navmesh
