alignment x y z problem

Why gps coordinate of phantom 4 pro give a wrong alignment?

thank you

That is because DJI drones consider their take-off height as a 0 which is obviously wrong unless you’re taking off from a beach near the sea (using Mean Sea level as a reference point)

on ***** no problem…

but which is z axis coordinate correlation with roll/pitch wrong alignment of model in screenshot attached?

Sorry its very urgent.
How can I get a correct xyz (not millimetrical precision) orientation of cloud Point? Same problem on all project I’ve started in RC…
always phantom 4 pro and d90 reflex. Which are tip for a correct workflow?

Hello Marco,

By the default your phantom 4 pro should capture coordinates in epsg:4326 - WGS84.
Images in you project have - epsg: 32634 - WGS 84 / UTM zone 34N and this can be the issue. Did you changed the coordinates for the pictures ?

OK. Right alignment but if now I want to export a georeferenced wgs 84 34N ortophoto?

You can chose different coordinates in ortho projection settings. You can find detailed explanation directly in RealityCapture help by searching for - Orthographic Projection.

Ok now i’ve p4p model aligned and model done.

second step is add nikon d90 photos to add detail to model.

  • added d90 line in xml sensordb

  • added d90 photos in project

  • click on align and… get new unaligned total model (p4p+d90)

which are parameter that give this result?

i’ve to set some prior pose/calibration/lens parameter to give priority to first p4p model alignment? or disable p4p photos from alignment process??

You can try to change alignment setting.

Alignment>Settings> Merge components only> set it to True and align your project again.

If this won’t work you will have to place manually control points on both components and align again.
