Hi everyone, today I came across what would be my strangest bug discovered so far. Everything is aligned “backward”. The alignment shows the building entirely mirrored, the right part of the church is on the left and left on the right.
I’m not talking about rotation but complete mirroring one one axe.
when I zoom on images, I can see that they are turned to the opposite direction of the model they’re “projecting” backwards.
Has it ever happened before to you? is it a setting?
It is the case for me for both exterior and interior components
Hi syl7h,
this is quite strange. Are you using also georeferenced images? What are your alignment settings? Are the images rotated also in 2D view? Can you try Make it like a clean install (open RC with pushed SHIFT and choose option Make it like a clean install), delete the cache and then process it again?
Thank you, I think it helped making it a clean install!
My alignment settings are default and in the viewport, the images were all turned to the opposite side of where they were “projecting”, that’s what made RC be a bit lost, and both miss some part of the reconstructed mesh and be unable to create control points.
I also deleted all exif info on the dslr pictures that seemed to be problematic, even though after deleting this info I had less cameras aligned, I came to a sufficient enough result in the end!
