align scan with pictures

Hi,

Just small note/question. Why my scan with 2 pictures alingment has less points then scan only (without pictures) ?
See attachments.

Also Lens distortion model (devision and brown) is different between the 2 components (scan only or scan+pics).

I highly recommend you to look for info on how photogrammetry works, it’s different, as you already know, with laser scanning.
In most cases you need to improve scanning position density and proper images for photogrammetry ( much more as you used here ), please take a look at the showcase tutorial section on our web: https://www.capturingreality.com/Showcase

Thanks, i watched all the showcase videos and looking further in the matter. On the mesh all points come back so all good now
