Alembic hair stretching

Hi, can someone please let help me with this,
I exported an alembic hair groom into UE4.26, the groom looks fine in Maya but in UE4 the hair stands get stretched in a strange way (refer to image please.), Thanks in advanced.

I realized the problem was caused by the “Min Remaining length” parameter of the “cut” modifier. If there is any cut modifier applied to the groom, this parameter has to be greater than zero.
