I’ve created an alembic groom. Eyebrows! And I’ve imported them into my game. They imported successfully and look good. However, I’ve now tried applying them to my character, and they are binding to the back of the skull instead of the eyebrows.
Here’s a picture showing the problem:
In my editing software (3DS Max with Ornatrix) the hair looks and works well. It successfully moves with the facial bones as well.
Has anyone else had this problem with Alembic Grooms?
Also, here are my export settings.
And UE4 didn’t really have any import settings except for scale and rotation which I have not touched.
