I’m working on a file with several complex character rigs and objects where exporting an .fbx is not an option. I exported multiple objects as different alembics for Unreal (5.3.2). I imported the first and largest file (1GB), and it imported perfectly and showed the progress bar was moving when it imported. However, all of the smaller alembics, even the simplest of objects at 6mb, will not import at all. These were all models and rigs I exported two weeks ago for our lighting dept and they worked perfectly. The biggest .abc took maybe 20min to import, meanwhile a 98mb .abc only progressed 8% in 24 hours. Is there something I’m missing that would be causing that freeze or incredibly slow import speed? Happening both on my home PC and maxed M2 Mac at work. Thanks in advance.
