AlanLilley3D - Survival Horror Game Inventory System

Have you wanted to create an Inventory System inspired by Survival Horror Games, such as Resident Evil? Included in this pack is a fully working Inventory System, inspired by Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remakes, outfitted with a bundle of features, including:

  • Tile-Based Inventory

  • An Action Menu, which is designed with set functionality that you can alter, restructure and reprogram to your needs

    • USE: Simple as using the items from the inventory screen

    • INSPECT: Take a look rendered model of your item and manipulate it while being safe in the inventory

    • COMBINE: A fully customisable Combination system which lets you create items from two others.

    • DROP: Don't want an item cluttering your inventory? Drop it in the world if it's not a Quest Item.

  • An inspection system that uses a targeted 2D Map to capture your items in a studio setting.

  • Quest Items which have their own values, such as not being droppable, and have set usages before you can drop them.

  • Lootable items which can have set inventory slots, content, and quantities.

  • A Player Storage chest, which is linked to others throughout your game, providing you with extra storage than what you can carry.

  • ... and More Features

It should be noted that the System is a Project download, as the default Third Person Character from the Third Person Template is integrated using Casts. It is advised that you know how to code in blueprints to be able to modify this if you would like.

This project is an ongoing development, and the Inventory is the first part.
