I am trying to create a (I thought) simple AIM offset for my character by using additive animations for looking different directions on top of my standing idle pose. The AIM offset works correctly in the preview except that the character mesh is scaled to take up the entire stage. The preview also looks like this for the individual poses. As soon as I select the base pose, the scaling happens. I just can’t figure out what causes it (I’m also very new to this, and was just following along with a tutorial until this point).
Find aim anims that uses aim offset. Select all of them in content browser. Right Click > Asset Actions > Edit Selection in Property Matrix. Then click one of them and press Ctrl + A. Look at Pinned Columns tab and Look for AdditiveSettings. Make Additive Anim Type to “Mesh Space” and base Pose Type to “Skeleton Reference Pose”.
