Ok, so i made footstep sounds for my AI, and i assigned it to their animations, but it was a 2d sound, i could hear it everywhere, i wanna make it 3d so when i’m close to the AI the sound is somewhat loud, but when i’m far away, the sound can barely be heard, please help!
Hello, take a look at “attenuation” asset. You can set it to have sound decreasing on distance with a falloff.
Just spawn 3d sound at foot location. You can assign the attenuation on the spawn sound node, or by default in the sound itself.
Im running into the same problem, i have the sound play at location and i have an attenuation attached to the sound but that is not working
