Maybe… But can think of another much more ominous possibility. As AI junk spreads over every marketplace, who stands to benefit the most? Think about it… OCG… Hackers / scammers / crims, plus anyone working for state actors subject to international sanctions. 
The fun part is, they don’t even really need to sell anything (that’s just an added bonus). They could just use MP accounts as a cover to launder money using mules hired off facebook / insta. The mules create the AI marketplace accounts and pretend to be sellers. That’s hard to defend against versus how you’d defend against Bots, and yet the process is still highly automated.
