^This^… So, why not rename the No-AI tag Epic? The proof that change is needed should be evident from all the confusion above, right? How about: Not-For-AI / Can’t-Be-Used-To-Train-AI tags or whatever… Just something more transparent. Unless this was a deliberate move? The tech industry has a rep for choosing terms designed to confuse. How often do ‘privacy settings’ / ‘cookie choices’ ever lead to any real privacy or any actual choice? 
The real weakness here though, is that ultimately there’s no way to police any of this… No way to ensure the No-AI preference will be followed by an industry that feels 1000% self-entitled. At the top there’s a fundamentalist type belief that they can just scrape anything. An enshrined right to take whatever you want. Why? because ‘AI is God’ now or something. 
Going to bump this LINK again as its worth reading imho (as it doesn’t look like it was pushed out by big money vested interests). Unfortunately it was drowned out by the sacking / re-hiring of OpenAI’s CEO. All hail the ‘AI messiah’ who rose from the dead once again.
