AI = Accessibility.

There are many people excluded from participating in life, both in society and digitally, due to different kinds of challenges. It can be lack of time, lack of money or lack of health.

  • Some people are stuck totally paralyzed, but they can give voice commands to an AI.
  • Some people cannot leave their homes because of mental health, and we do not have the mental stamina to finish anything, but now we have AI to do most of the work.
  • Some people are running out of time and will soon die, and they cannot finish their digital dreams, until now, thanks to AI.
  • Some people have too many responsibilities outside of their hobby, that they simply do not have the time to follow 500 tutorials to learn to make everything by hand.
  • Some people do not have the money to do anything, but they can get free AI to make things for them.

People who hate AI have no idea how privileged they are. People who hate people who use AI, have no idea how hurtful it is being told that you should just give up and rot away until your life is over.

This AI hatred has become a toxic religious cult, where anyone who disagrees is a valid target. The haters act as if they have some kind of a moral compass, when their only contribution to the AI discussions is hatred. It feels like I am walking down a narrow alley, while being sick, and am surrounded by disgusting people that scream and throw up on me.

The EPIC vs. Steam AI wars:

  • Starting June 1, 2025, developers will retain 100% of the revenue from the first $1 million earned per app each year.
  • After surpassing this threshold, the revenue share will revert to the standard 88% for developers and 12% for Epic Games.
  • Unreal Engine is free to use, including tons of EPIC content, until you make 1 million dollars. After that, you pay 5%.
  • Steam takes a 30% cut of game sales, meaning developers keep 70% of the revenue. However, for games that earn over $10 million, the cut improves to 25% for earnings beyond that threshold, and to 20% for earnings over $50 million.

And yet people act as if Steam is the good guy and EPIC is the bad guy. Steam only help the rich, EPIC helps everyone.

  • Gabe Newell’s net worth is estimated to be $11 billion.
  • Tim Sweeney’s net worth is estimated to be around $5.1 billion

Gabe created a monopoly that rips everyone off. Tim created a sandbox that gives everyone a chance.
