I had a method of respawning my character to certain locations, which works fine in a UEFN session. However, when I published and got a private code to run in the real game, the character just stays in their same spot. Maybe I need to do this differently?
I still get that annoying error anytime I try to publish a private island. But if you are the creator of the project you can still type in the island code (after pushing the project to creator portal from UEFN) in the standard Fortnite client and play the island. (It gives you a message saying you have to be on the project team to play it, which threw me off at first, but you can still click “Play” and it works. And you can “favorite it”.
I think if you create a project team then those members should be able to type the island code into Fortnite and use it as well, but I haven’t tried that yet.
