The age rating of my island was drastically increased for no reason. I haven’t changed any features. It’s just a simple FFA game, and other similar islands have a much lower rating.
I already contacted IARC, but they say the rating is accurate.
IARC responded that the level of “violence” was not sufficiently disclosed, but this is an FFA game—everything is standard.
I suspect this is due to the new rating parameter assigned to my project, “online interactions,” but my island does not have any tools for user online interactions. It only features a numeric code input panel used to obtain special items or superpowers. This functionality is implemented in many other islands.
I don’t know how to prove this to IARC since appeals are reviewed by an automated system.
