Hello everyone! I’m making skill animations right now.
After the animation was applied, I ran it in a montage. But once the animation is played, the montage goes back to where it was first run. I want to move from where it was played..
I looked it up and I was told that I need to change the root motion. Let me tell you about the things I tried.
I’ve worked it out! Maybe I should have looked it up more and asked if it didn’t work out..
My solution is to get into the animation sequence itself that I use in the montage. Let me explain how I did it. (Based on my project)
Enter the corresponding animation sequence as shown in the picture above.
After entering, click EnableRootMotionAndUseNormalizedRootmotion in AssetDetails. These two were set to False.
After I set it up and ran it like this, I was able to run the next animation in the location where the montage ended as I wanted. Those pictures I left in the questionnaire are the result of trying more while still being the same.
In the article I referenced, if I click on it like a picture in the animation sequence and play the animation, I could see that the animation plays again at the end of the animation.
I’m happy I didn’t go back to my first position after the montage! If anyone sees this, I hope you’ll always be happy. (The writing might be weird because I used a translator.. Please understand.)
