A ritual bell cast in the form of a stylized human head, featuring exaggerated eyes, nose, and mouth. A loop at the top indicates it was once suspended. Such bells were used in ceremonial contexts and signified prestige, ancestral presence, and spiritual communication within communities of the Lower Niger cultural sphere.
