This is my 2nd jam project with Unreal 5, prior to starting this jam I knew of major features utilized like control rig and sequencer but had not explored them yet. I love jams for the forced learning on the job nearly as much as seeing all the amazing games folks can cook up with such tight restrictions.

A Boomer-Shooter inspired FPS action game with a tight classic Sci-Fi story made in Unreal Engine 5.3 for the 2023 Epic MegaJam.

You take on the role of a Special Task Force Unit detective around the year 2299, tasked with taking down a rogue AI that has reemerged from the distant past, 2023. Shoot and kick your way through hordes of Holo-Security guards and take out that AI before it adapts, before it can UPGRADE.

Hey there @Buddy_DoQ ! Welcome to posting with us here on the forums and we’re super happy to see you around for your second jam project!

Through the brief trailer, I absolutely love the physics and care that was taken within the motions. The general plot is also really intriguing especially with the idea of the chance that the AI could upgrade if you don’t make it in time. If you ever played with the idea a little more I’d love to see what you do with it!
