Advanced Skeleton: MetaHuman UE5

Hi guys,

I wanted to seek advice on properly setting up the metahuman rig using a Maya based control rig via Advanced Skeleton.

Importing the UE5 skeleton and geo into maya and running adv skel to build out the skeleton leads to some bones not driving correctly.

All of the helper bones around the shoulders, biceps, and knees lose their constraints or proper aim constraints.

Has anyone had success with the most recent metahuman and Advanced Skeleton?

For context

if you’re using a metahuman skeleton, the extra bones around the main ones are driven with posedriver RBFs in engine, in maya, there’s a plugin for RBF stuff, if you have it all linked up properly in engine (using a default metahuman for ex.) they should just work fine in engine.

to see it properly in maya you’d have to have it running with the plugin
