Adobe Media Encoder not seeing bink2premiere plugin, where to put the dll?

The bink folder includes instructions on installing the bink2premiere plugin (a dll), which is supposed to work for premiere and Adobe Media encoder, but even though the suggested folder exists, Media Encoder won’t display bink as an encoder option. Just wondering if someone has successfully used this plugin, and where they put it.

Same question here. The documentation seems very out of date.

I figured it out. I put it here:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder 2024\PlugIns\Common

Once you do that it shows up in the “Format” column in the ME Queue. The you can make a preset out of it.
