Hello I have a simple widget blueprint in umg. Within it I have a textblock I have applied a font material onto and inside the material editor when i select additive from the drop down under blend mode it will not render in umg or in game. The other blend modes appear to work with the exception of modulate.
Any ideas? Is this possible? (Also tried posting this in the forum apologies if it’s a double post)
If I remember correctly, the shader used in Slate does not support this very mode, unfortunately.

Pretty sure it’s doable if you were willing to dig into C++ and slate. Not sure how easy it would be.

Your first 5 posts need moderation, it may take some time before the threads shows up. Also, don’t hesitate to post in both the forums and the AnswerHub and link both together.
edit: found it
Got it! That’s too bad but thanks so much, I’ll bug one of the engineers I’m working with to see if he can figure something out. Thanks again!
