It would be VERY helpful to have additional UV adjustments inside Twinmotion for properly rendering wood beams and simple rectangular boards. Currently if a model is imported with Datasmith in a default blank white material and a TM Material - Wood is assigned to it ( board or veneer) , the sides and ends frequently have incorrect grain or board direction. If it were possible to select just a face of an object one could duplicate the material and change the orientation to properly indicate a wood board grain or direction on all sides. However, it would seem much simpler and efficient to be able to select just a face and adjust its UV. Sketchup has a UV system that allows for this however once imported into TM the material is usually seriously out of scale with the model and also uncorrectable in TM to the extent of scale adjustment required using TM Material Settings. Hopefully more UV Options are on the horizon. If there’s some current way to adjust to the correct Wood UV on all faces in TM please reply.
