New to the forums - *and UE *- but looking forward to using these forums as a great resource in the years to come. Being said, I was curious if EPIC had any plans for branching out subforums a bit more?
Coming from a Film/VFX background I’m a sucker for organization and I think additional subforums could benefit those who are perhaps more “plugged in” to a certain emphasis in UE.
I imagine subforums for aspects of production like Animation - Modeling/Sculpting - Texturing as well as rendering/post subforums like Lighting/Shading - PP Effects - Cascade/RBD - the subforum expansion could go on and on (admittedly problematic - but perhaps as the need(s) call for themselves). Obviously this isn’t anything original as most CG emphasized hubs include subforums similar to these - but after a quick search for previous threads I hadn’t found anyone who’s voiced this request.
Great work so far on the engine and the community that’s starting to really take new roots in UE4. Looking forward to becoming a part of it!
