Pretty sure the answer is simple, when I add my location marker widget onto my map widget, it stretches, the one that is not stretched is placed as a child and has size to content enabled, but I don’t know how to set that setting for a dynamically added widget

Attaching to a component that hasn’t been resized is my fix. Still not sure how to size an attached widget to content like in the original question, but at least this got her done.
