Adding purchasable DLC after release?

Hey guys. How is this possible? I’m wanting to add a feature to my game so that you can purchase DLC, but I’m not sure how to do this. Do I need to have the DLC already installed into the game, then activate it after the purchase? If so, how do I activate it? Do I need to make it so that it installs the DLC AFTER you purchase? How would I do that? IS this even possible? I’d like to think that it is, but I’ve never actually seen it done in an UE4 game. If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks!

Rocket league has dlc and its made using unreal. They have beeb able to load dlc packs during the updates and only unlock them at purchase time.
