adding new animations fbxs to an exisiting character with animations in unreal

hey,
So i have a character with animations working inside unreal already, however I have new fbx animations that were mocap files that i want to put onto the existing character, however it is a different skeleton … how do i go about adding/ testing these new animations into unreal on the new character? not sure if this is technically retargeting since the mocap fbxs arent a new character mesh , they are just a skeleton with animations on them… any help would be appreciated thanks

Import your new animation Fbx
Uncheck “Import Mesh”
Select your Character Skeleton
