Adding movement to actor

Hi, I have a class that inherits from Actor and i want to give it movement, more specifically I want it to look like if it wass constantly falling, so it will just move down until some other thing stops it from falling.

My class consist of a Box component and a mesh component with material more or less, my box component is the root component

I searched in the forum and google and found next two methods SetPhysicsLinearVelocity and AddImpulse, I have already experimented a bit and I cant get them to work how I want

So two questions

  1. Is this the right way to do it or is there a better solution like giving it velocity with other method or just changing the location and checking for collitions in an specific direction or some other stuff that doesn’t need to simulate physics
  2. If not and the right way to do it is with SetPhysicsLinearVelocity or AddImpulse, what component should be the one reciving the messages, the mesh?
