Adding Meshes Freezes My Editor

When I try to load something, say the tree trunk from the kite demo, or the cliff from the open world demo, my editor freezes.
This even happens with my market place content that I purchased.

I click and drag the mesh onto my editor and it freezes for a bit, then goes on working fine till I try to load a different mesh.
I don’t seem to have this issue when adding .fbx imports, just content created in Unreal Engine.

It shouldn’t be my rigs, I am running UE4.8 on a:
1)
dual quad core Xeon 3.6Ghz
96Gb ECC RAM
Titan Black 6Gb GPU
512Gb EVO Pro SSD
WD 6Tb RED HDD

dual quad core Xeon 3.1Ghz
32Gb ECC RAM
FirePro W9000 6Gb GPU
512GB Crucial MX100 SSD
WD 6Tb RED HDD

  1. x2 (I have 2 of these units)
    dual dual core Xeon 2.7Ghz
    32Gb ECC RAM
    FirePro V4800 1Gb GPU
    512GB Crucial MX100 SSD
    WD 6Tb RED HDD

  2. (Currently Building Main Hub for Rendering)
    X10QBL-CT MB
    Quad E7-8870 2.4Ghz CPUs (10 Cores each / 40 Cores Total)
    2Tb ECC RAM
    VGA Port
    WD 6Tb RED HDD

Is this just happening for meshes that you havent placed yet? (that you have placed the first time?) -> then it could take a while, because it has to compile/load/“create” everything

Yes.
Is there a way to speed this up?
