Hi there, I am new to Unreal and I am having trouble with a bug in the animator sequence.
Everything works fine until I add a new animation (after 6 or so animations), let’s say a block after a sword attack. I set it to the hips of the previous clip and once I do that all the past animations ignore the previous transform keys I set and go back to their force root lock being unchecked even though it is checked in the asset details.
Meaning instead of moving in place, like the force root lock is supposed to do, the animation itself begins to move on its own. Which causes it to jump back and forth when using an extended walking animation.
Has anyone experienced this before and know a quick fix?
