Adding a weapon to 3rd person template

I have started to use the 3rd person template for our basic controls of our character.
Could someone give me some pointers on how could I learn how to attach a weapon to the 3rd person template?

I haven’t really explored the character animations yet.

You have to create an actor bp (with the weapon setup → mesh, shooting,…) + add a socket to your skeletal mesh (in persona do a right click on one of the bones - create socket) and in the event graph you have to do this:

red = the root component of your actor bp
orange = the character
blue = the socket name
