The problem now is if you hold your cursor over the text block you want to line up center with anchor the cross lines disappear and you cant see the anchor point.
Its backwards.
You need to see the cross lines shoot out from the text block or element you are trying to line up.
You are not sliding the anchor point around you are sliding the text block or element around.
A grid overlay with on or off settings would be much better.
Look at Photoshop they get it right.
