Adding A Custom Weapon

I’m A college student at The University of New Mexico, and work for about 3 weeks on a crafting and inventory system, I bought the weapons pack (29.99) off the market, which said it was 4.9. At first, Being only 3 semesters into my degree, I tried to add the gun to my skel mesh which was never centered. always off. I even opened blender with the sk_gun and aligned perfectly. So I said screw it, started over with a third person project and attempted that why… but wait, no longer is the sk_man in a T position so its nile impossible to attach a weapon at the correct angle. I wasted about 8 Hrs adjusting in the skel to position it right as well as the char BP. Why is there zero tutorials about adding something axs important as a weapon?? Seriously makes absolute no sense.
Sorta want my 30 bucks back.

Ps Googled how to do it, but always was for the T pos.

Are those meshes in the package just static meshes? -> just follow this tutorial (it’s for fps, but will work nearly the same with third person): https://forums.unrealengine/showthread.php?55508-How-to-integrate-Military-Weapons-pack-into-FPS&highlight=weapon
