I had the two default players spawn from the initial blank island import. I just added a class designer and applied the class to the player; now the player flies in and doesn’t use the spawner. Also, I added the blade and pistol; the player has no weapons.
I added class slot 1 to all 4 players and granted them the first item on start.
I’ve had this happen on a few of my levels so I would love to figure out what I’m doing wrong.
Thanks for the information. I have attached some screenshots to show that the player spawner is attached to the class. I’m not sure if I’m missing something. I’ve had this happen to a few maps so it would be nice to figure out what I’m doing wrong.
The Class Slot Setting in the Player Spawner is for which class is allowed to use the spawn.
To change the player class outside of the Island Settings class default setting, you usually need to use a Class Selector Device.
You can then use it’s zone, a mutator volume, an activated player reference or a few other things I’ve forgotten to switch classes on a player.
