Hey guys, I have added some joints to my metahuman that I need for my weapons setup and all that. I have exported the skelmesh, added my joints and reimported the skeleton.
I see the joints, they are in the skeleton but are no longer in the correct position. The weaponRoot joint I added which is a child of ik_hand_gun, in maya weaponRoot is all zeros and exists in the exact same place as the ik_hand_gun. In editor the ik_hand_gun is in the correct place however the waeponRoot is at world 0,0,0. In the skeleton editor I select the weaponRoot joint and make all its values 0 and it is NOT in the same location as the ik_hand_gun joint.
Does anyone have any idea why this joint wont go to 0,0,0 local to its parent?
I am at a total loss and dont understand what is going on
