With the recent update v28.30, the ability to toggle jam-track emotes has been added to the island settings. I’d love having the same toggle for dances, toys, emoticons & sprays to simply filter out the types that aren’t necessary within particular experiences.
In my case, one of my experiences which was doing relatively well had the major issue of sprays being applied everywhere (the map, was very open for that), at an eventual point it caused extreme performance issues. Since the remove of emotes altogether, it has been running much smoother, but it comes at the cost of removing all the other emote types as well.
I’d love if epic can take this into consideration in the foreseeable future!
