Add Runtime Virtual Texture (RVT) support for Brushify Landscapes

Here’s a tutorial on how to add RVT blending & caching for performance for landscapes created with Brushify.

( Or you can read this step-by-step tutorial )

Here we use OpenLand’s tools for adding that. So, there’s very little work for you to do.

This is one of the most requested features from our users. They really like our RVT blending tools. But, changing a landscape material for that is a bit of work.

Even though, this tutorial is targeting Brushify, it’s possible to apply these techniques for any kind of landscape material.

With this, now we can get the best of both worlds :tada::sparkles:.

Is there a way of changing the resolution of the RVT in the BP - I need to be able to change based on PC vs Console… I spent the day trying to swap out RVT 's but it wont work…

I don’t think that’s possible. But you can write a custom volume BP to choose the correct RVT. You can one such for each platform.

Hey arunodas,

Moving your post to the tutorial section so more people can see this!
