Add Physics to a running animation


so I have my AI playing an idle animation (via the anim blueprint). It’s the rifle hip idle-animation from the anim starter content. When shooting at the AI I start simulating physics like shown in the animation content project from Epic Games.
But it looks more that the physics is replacing the animation instead of adding a hit reaction to it:

How can I get a hit reaction like in the Hit_Reaction-Animations from the starter content just by adding physics?

Here is the setup:

It looks good when the AI is playing the default third person idle animation but the arms are flying away if the AI is in the rifle hip idle animation. (I’m using Logic Driver Pro)
