Hi, I have a little problem with adding a mesh (for example a weapon) to a skeletal mesh socket. It works like you see it on the blueprint below, but the mesh spawns allways to the location of the skeleton mesh component and not to the socket. Any idea how to fix that? I also can’t find any good tutorials for equip something. Thank you for help!
In my experience you get that behavior when the socket name you’ve entered isn’t found on the mesh you’re targeting. I recommend double checking your socket name on your mesh and in the blueprint.
I figured it out myself now. So for all who have the same problem just take the skeletal mesh component from the components tap and plug it into in parent.
