The Adaptive Audio Occlusion Blueprint works alongside the new audio occlusion feature in Unreal Engine 4.11. Offering surface based occlusion and an experimental diffraction feature, Adaptive Audio Occlusion helps take your game a step closer to realistic behaving audio.
TRACKS SOUNDS IN RANGE**
• Only tracks sounds in the level when you are in listening range of those sounds. This helps with performance.
**SURFACE BASED AUDIO OCCLUSION
• 4 surface categories (default, light, medium, high occlusion) with separate volume reduction and LPF settings.
• Experimental feature that simulates sound bending around occluding obstacles. (Can be performance heavy)
• Track the sounds you want for surface based occlusion. Set the rest to use the native occlusion feature.
