actor skeletal mesh won't ragdoll

hi,

i’ve got an actor called ‘DeadBodies’ with 4 skeletal meshes in it, with gravity enabled and collision presets set to Ragdoll, with an event that ‘Simulates Physics’ at a certain event, however; they don’t fall even though I have them above the ground, any ideas on why he refuses to ragdoll? i’ve tested the same method on my player and it works, is it because the skeletal mesh is inside an actor? anything else i need to enable to make this work or alternative way to doing this?

even creating an actor with skeletal mesh and doing only this, triggered by player BP doesn’t do anything but the print string?

the following is working, although the death count seems to be not saving at the right time for this to work flawlessly yet
