My goal is to record Live Link facial animation on a metahuman while the body is driven by an already existing animation asset.
I’m using a bp that has both the face and body skeletal meshes of a metahuman combined (Face SKM is a child of the body SKM). For the face I’ve assigned a custom animation bp used for livelink. Body has no anim bp.
In the sequencer I added an animation track for the body. The face is using Live Link. When I play the sequencer it looks exactly the way I want it (both playing at the same time), BUT after I press record, the body goes to an A-pose and only the face is left being recorded by Live Link. When the recording has finished, the animation I added for the body is gone and the character is staying in an A–pose.
Any help with that?
