Active Widget Index Changes, Image does Not (Discussion)

Posting this as a discussion post because I truly need help with this.

I’m currently making a story game and trying to add a variable to a dialogue tree task. I’ve concluded that it should be working after days and days of testing. The weird thing is, the active widget index IS set to the correct number. I used a print string node, and now I can see clearly with every new dialogue, the index is changing. But the image itself is not. This is very confusing. When I type a value in the ‘active widget index’ section of the details menu on the widget switcher, it change…
