Action Mapping or Axis Mapping for crouching?

I’m currently working on a Side Scrolling Platform project and I was wondering, should crouching be assigned to Action Mapping or Axis Mapping if crouch is the Down button like in most platforming games?

Action Mapping. Axis mapping is used for inputs that can be a value between 0 and 1 (0,3 for example) Action mapping is pressed or not. Example either 0 or 1 nothing in between.
