So what’s the LX100 for then?
To take pictures of the pilot?
There isn’t too too much you can upgrade with your PC though.
I think you can quite comfortably start out with that setup.
The D5300 was my choice for a larger camera about a year ago.
We have very similar tastes! 
But now I am leaning towards the X T20.
